As a parent with a child who has neurodiverse differences, I often worry about my little one. One thing I didn’t have to worry about was, will she be supported to be her best self? I would like to thank all of the staff at First Adventure Child Development Centre. They have had such a positive effect on my little one’s development and growth. Her Early Childhood Educators have gone above and beyond to get to know her as an individual and embrace her strengths and challenges. They worked with her to overcome her challenging tendencies with patience, understanding, and kindness. They have given us a tremendous amount of love and support. This shows in their daily interactions with all the children. It truly takes a village to raise a child and that was how I felt the day I sat down with Debbie the Executive Director to talk about my little one and her needs before starting at First Adventure.

Both my daughter and my son attended First Adventure Child Development Centre for a number of years. I felt comfortable and confident leaving them in the care of the knowledgeable and caring staff each day. Both of my children had so much fun learning and growing both outside in the fantastic outdoor space and inside in the engaging classrooms. My children learned important life skills such as sharing, being a kind friend, and independence all in a supportive and welcoming environment. I am so glad that First Adventure was part of both of our children’s lives.
